    The motor has an impressive 3/4 horsepower and is compatible with backup battery systems manufactured by the Chamberlain Group that will power the motor for 40 cycles over a 24-hour period. Powered by a standard belt drive system for reliability and performance, the ultra-quiet DC motor features an enclosed gear case that provides continuous lubrication for a longer life and improved operation.
    The motor comes with a positioning sensor for enhanced safety. If anything crosses under the door during operation, the motor automatically stops and reverses. Once the door is already closed the motor will not allow the door be opened manually unless the power is out for security.
